We were truly fortunate to book our 12-day trip to Morocco with Travel Exploration and Alecia Cohen. She really listened well as we described the type of travelers we are and the things we value most in visiting a country. She customized a fantastic trip for us. We cannot imagine a better driver than Ismael. He was much more than that, and is now a cherished friend. He is an excellent careful driver and an intelligent ambassador for the Moroccan people and culture. In addition, we had a knowledgeable local guide in each city, and we learned so much about the country and how Islam is practiced there. We also learned about the history, people and geography. We loved the incredible Riads that we stayed in, the medinas we explored, and the helpfulness of the people we met.?We had fun bargaining for the gifts we purchased. Another highlight was the cooking class and trip to the market with the chef to learn about the foods of Morocco.We loved Fes, Marrakech, and Essaouira. We also enjoyed seeing Meknes. What a fantastic trip this was!
