Imperial City Tailor-Made Tour of Morocco Review

We had five well-traveled adults in our group. Our goal was a 12 day private tour of Morocco staying at very nice (but not the most expensive) places. We compared several tour companies, but I knew after talking with Alecia that we had found the right one. From beginning to end we were not disappointed. Alecia listens to what you want, tailors to your desires, is prompt, attentive, and inventive. Our three primary hotels were a fabulous mixture: a beautiful small classic Riad in Fez, a large modern hotel in Quarzazate, and a larger full-service, very nice Riad in Marrakech. She selected individual guides who were extremely good in each location from Volubilis to Essouria, but the true joy of the trip was a constant companion, driver, and guide Houssaine. His English was very good, he made sure every experience was excellent, and he was open, honest, and interesting about Moroccan culture, history, and politics. Our visit with his family was the highlight of our trip, and Alecia was able to have dinner with us at an incredible restaurant in Marrakech--you can't ask for more. We would highly recommend that any Morocco trip include time in the South near Quarzazate. It is a unique part of the country. No hestiation in highly recommneding Alecia and Travel Exploration.
